    2026 World Cup Qualifiers – Matchday Recap

    Here's a recap of the recent 2026 World Cup Qualifiers matches that took place on the 4th Of September 2025

     

    🇦🇷 Argentina 3–0 Venezuela

    Argentina cruised to victory with Lionel Messi stealing the show. The captain opened the scoring in the 39th minute, before Lautaro Martínez doubled the lead at 76'. Messi added a second in the 80th to seal the win. Argentina looked sharp and confident as they march toward qualification.

     

    🇨🇴 Colombia 3–0 Bolivia

    Colombia confirmed their World Cup spot in style. James Rodríguez broke the deadlock in the 31st minute, followed by Jhon Córdoba at 74', and Juan Fernando Quintero capped it off in the 83rd. A dominant display from the Cafeteros.

     

    🏴 Wales 1–0 Kazakhstan

    In Astana, Wales snatched a hard-fought win thanks to Kieffer Moore’s 24th-minute strike. Kazakhstan pressed for an equalizer but couldn’t find a way past the Welsh defense.

     

    🇧🇪 Belgium 6–0 Liechtenstein

    Belgium ran riot with six different scorers on the sheet. Maxim De Cuyper (29') started things off, Tielemans added two including a 46' strike and a 70' penalty, Theate netted at 60', Kevin De Bruyne contributed in midfield dominance (goal time unconfirmed), and Malick Fofana wrapped it up at 90+1'. Total dominance from the Red Devils.

     

    🇳🇿 New Zealand 3–0 New Caledonia

    The All Whites sealed their direct qualification spot with a comfortable win, keeping a clean sheet and showing why they remain Oceania’s top side.
