What you do is much more powerful than what you say.
Your kids are more likely to do what they see you doing than what they hear you say.
This is because, parenting is all about influence and modelling.
So, here are 3 things your kids should never see you do.
1. Lieing - You can't raise a truthful kid when you are a lying parent.
Even if you think it's a small lie, all lies are lies and your kids should never see you lie.
2. Fight with your partner - It's okay if the kids see you disagree with your partner.
But, they must never see you fight, get aggressive, insult or shout at each other.
How you solve problems with your partner before your kids will leave a lasting impression in their memory.
3. Discuss people in an inappropriate way - How your kids respect other people will be influenced by how you discuss people before them.
I know partner gist is sweet. But certain discussions shouldn't be done before your kids.
Actions speak louder than words. Are you modelling the right behaviors before your kids?
