12 days ago_*Acts.17.28 - For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring.*_
The verse above is drawn from a chapter where Paul was very angry with people that believed that God can only be seen and worshipped through idols and physical statues. They had a limited understanding that since Jesus died, His presence indwells our lives and is not limited to physical structures and objects.
Today, God reminds us that He lives in us. Therefore, we are advantaged to have a constant friend, counselor, helper, advocate, etc within us.
God is challenging us to look within (find Him in our hearts), before we can face the crowded world, that is often distracting. He is challenging us to avoid routines and genuinely seek Him.
*Prayer*
Thank you Lord for choosing us to be yours. What a privilege it is to be called sons of God. Help us to live in constant fellowship with you, as a father would with his son. Draw us back to you in the midst of a fast-paced world. In Jesus name we pray, amen
