10 days agoI'm 28M, and my best friend 24M. Recently I've been thinking of him as more than just my best friend and it's confusing. I thinking that I'm in love with him. We've never discussed anything romantic together but he share experiences about his sexual conquests. I'm a romantic asexual. We have a friendship where we love physical closeness and sometimes when we're in our respective hammock, we would be feeling each other hands to see which one is softer and when he get up he usually have a hard on which he would tend to hide and let me not see it but the weird thing is neither of us wear boxer or brief so it's noticeable.
Question 1, what does that mean, getting a hard on from holding my hands.
Moving on, when he share his sexual conquests and it's just a one night stands it's no big deal but now I believe he's thinking about getting serious with Elle 20F and I'm getting jealous to the point in which I would see him message and deliberately take 1 hour or more to respond even if it's important. Before Elle came into the picture, everything was normal but now everything changes. We have never discussed about feelings, a few times I tried walking away but he always voice note me sound hurt and I always came running back.
Question 2. I would like some advice on how to navigate my feelings for him with everything going on without cutting him from my life?
I would always tell him "A great friend is worth more than a thousand lovers".... he believes that too. I don't know what to do,
