*Topic : Ask of Me.*
*Text : Psalm 2:8 (KJV) - "Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession."*
*-----Inspirational Message-----*
One of the most powerful invitations God gives to His children is to “Ask of Me.” These three words express both divine willingness and relational access. God, who owns all things, is asking His children to come boldly and make their requests known. Asking is not a sign of weakness, it is a demonstration of faith and relationship.
*1. God Delights in Our Asking.*
Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV) – "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Also in John 16:24 (KJV) – "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full." God is not annoyed by our requests, He is glorified when we come to Him in faith. He longs to respond and show Himself as our Provider and Father.
*2. Asking Requires Faith and Boldness.*
That was why the Bible says in Hebrews 11:6a (KJV) – "But without faith it is impossible to please him...", Also in James 1:5-6 (KJV) - "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." Faith is the currency of the Kingdom. To ask is to believe that God hears, cares, and acts.
*3. Ask According to His Will.*
In 1 John 5:14-15 (KJV) – "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” When we align our desires with God’s Word and will, we are assured of answers. God is not a lier, He is a Father who gives what is good, timely, and wise.
*4. God’s Promises Are Big - Ask Big.*
In Ephesians 3:20 (KJV) – "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” While in Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV), the bible said, – "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." In Psalm 2:8, we were made to understand, that God's plans for us are not small. He invites us to dream big, to ask for nations, impact, and inheritance.
*5. Jesus is the Open Door to Asking.*
John 14:13-14 (KJV) – "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” The name of Jesus gives us access to heaven’s storehouse. Through Christ, we are sons and daughters, joint heirs with Him.
*Conclusion.*
God is saying today, “Ask of Me.” Not as a stranger but as a child. Bring your requests, dreams, burdens, and hopes. Your asking opens the door for God's Miraculous Supply and Divine Intervention
*Prayer Points.*
1. Lord, increase my faith to ask boldly.
2. Father, Help me to align my desires with Your will.
3. Father, I ask today for divine wisdom, open doors, and favor in all I do in Jesus Mighty Name.
4. Lord, give me the nations as my inheritance, use me for global impact in Jesus Mighty Name.
*God Bless You.*
