61 days agoHere's a funny story about how a poor man became rich through his disciples and hard work:
*Title:* *From Broke to Bank: Baba Tunde and His Disciples of Destiny*
Once upon a time in the dusty town of Umuwo, lived a poor man named Baba Tunde. He was so broke that even his shadow refused to follow him in the sun. Every morning, he would sit under a mango tree with his one shirt, his one trouser, and his one big dream—to be rich someday.
Despite his condition, Baba Tunde had something special: wisdom and stubborn consistency. He’d wake up daily and shout, “Hard work will make you hot like pepper soup!” Villagers thought he was mad, but three young boys—Chijioke, Musa, and Emmanuel—decided to become his disciples, hoping to learn the secret of this "mad man’s" confidence.
So they followed him everywhere.
Every day, Baba Tunde would teach them strange business lessons:
- “If you can sell sand in the desert, you can sell anything!”
- “Always smile, even if your belly is crying—customers love teeth!”
- “When you hustle, hustle like your future wife is watching!”
One day, Baba Tunde told them, “We will start a business selling slippers made from old tyres!” The disciples laughed until their stomach hurt, but Baba insisted. They collected old tyres, cut them with machetes, designed slippers, and started selling them at the market.
At first, no one bought them. One woman even shouted, “Are you selling tyres or slippers?” But Baba Tunde said, “Consistency is the mother of breakthrough!”
Months passed. Then a tourist from Lagos saw the slippers, loved them, and made a huge order for his fashion brand. Suddenly, Baba Tunde and his disciples were on Instagram, trending as “The Tyre Slipper Gang.” Within a year, they became millionaires.
Now, Baba Tunde lives in a mansion, drinks malt every morning, and wears slippers made from real crocodile skin. But every time he’s asked how he made it, he laughs and says, “I simply believed in madness and hard work!”
*Moral of the story:* Even if your dream sounds crazy, consistency and crazy disciples can turn it into cash.
