Photographers in Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve recently captured images of a zebra unlike any other. Instead of the classic black and white stripes, this baby has an all-over coat of polka dots. It’s caused by a condition called pseudo-melanism, where the usual stripe pattern is replaced by irregular blotches. It's extremely rare but not unheard of, and every sighting like this is still a major surprise in the wild. The photos quickly went viral, and it's easy to see why.
