Balancing school and my baking hustle hasn’t always been easy — but it’s possible!
As a 300-level student in Nigeria, I have lectures, assignments, and exams to prepare for. At the same time, baking is a passion and also a way to earn extra income.
Here’s what helps me stay on track:
1. I plan my baking orders around free periods or weekends. 2. I set reminders for both school deadlines and baking tasks. 3. I don’t take more baking work than I can handle. 4. I sometimes use my baking story as motivation to study harder — because success in both depends on consistency.
Baking also helps me stay creative, and school gives me structure. I believe every student has a gift they can manage, no matter how busy they are.
