There are numerous books written at the same time the standard books of the bible were written, more than ten that we have never been set our eyes on.Wasn't it the same holy spirit the caused them to write the books? Who are we to decide the ones we want to read? Isn't all still 'God's word'? Or is it just what we want to read?
Honestly, it seems as though they aren't pure, just hearing about them, but they're still messages to derive from them, why put a book like Hebrews which we don't even know who wrote it and not put books like the Wisdom of Solomon, or as suspicious as it seems, the book of Enoch, they weren't saying nonsense in their books, we just picked what we wanted to read and discarded the rest.
I hope the original publishers aren't trying to hide anything from us, I guess we'll never know unless we find out for ourselves.
