Be safe out there

This is long but please share. 

It happened to me today. 

To give a girl lift when you’re driving now is crazy. 

This morning I gave a young lady lift, she was telling me this story of how a guy she trusted assaulted and raped her and now he’s in Accra central police station. I didn’t really pay much attention as she was talking because it’s not my business. 

We got to her destination and I parked for her to come down and the next thing she said was “come down just like that, without giving me anything?” So I asked her that why on earth would I want to give her anything? This girl said I slept with her all through the night so I have to pay her. 

I was so angry but I kept my cool. I start my car and drove straight to Amasaman police station. 

This girl said I must pay her or she’ll deal with me and that she has dealt with people bigger than me and they end up in police cells if they don’t pay up. 

I got to the station she refused to come down, I went inside the station and reported her, a police officer followed me to the car and asked her to come down and enter the police station which she did and I locked my car. 

They took us upstairs and then we met one senior officer, he asked the girl what happened and I listened to her lied like Jazebel. The officer asked me what happened and I said my part, next thing the officer said was I should pay her the money she’s requesting for and I said I won’t do such thing. 

This senior officer started threatening me, I wanted to call my lawyer and they dragged the phone from me and next he said his boys should handcuff me which they succeeded in doing. 

I’m the one who came to report a case. 

He then ordered they should take us to DASU and we walked there, I was so embarrassed as I was walking on the road with cuffs on. 

One of the two officers who followed us was saying I should just pay her and forget this whole thing and I said I’d rather die than do that. 

We got to where they took us with a lot of female personnel there and the officer was saying the lady came to lay a complain and I said lies, I’m the one bringing a case so they shouldn’t twist it to favor the lady. 

The lady in charge called me and this girl to sick and asked what happened, I told my part and she said hers and started saying I also told her I do fraud and we agreed that I’d pay her 350ghc and this morning I don’t want to pay. She said I had raw sex with her and I even assaulted her. I laughed so hard. 

I told her to go to Amasaman hospital for check up and since I had raw sex with her and put my sperm in her, the hospital can run test and confirm if it’s true. 

The lady in charge warned her to stay away from me and she told her to go to the hospital for report if there’s really rape, assault as she claims and if not then she should go to court to file a case that I promised her 350ghc without giving it to her. 

They told her to leave first and after 30 minutes they told me to leave. 

I went back to the police station to pick my car and she’s beside my car blocking my way so I went inside the station and asked the officer there to tell her to move from my path. 

Do you believe the officer was telling me I should just pay her ?

Pay someone 350ghc, someone I don’t know, I didn’t fuck. 

I refused and they said she should go to court. 

I entered my car and drove off. 

This nonsense police men do at the station immediately they see girls need to stop. 

Immediately they see a girl then automatically the guy is guilty and anything the girl says is right. 

People have gone to jail for false accusations because some police men can’t think straight immediately they see a girl.
