Being your self just require being patient, attentive, understanding your environment, family, friends business partners.Let me use my self as an example The place where i bass people tell me do this do that dress this way as a servant of God you don't need to dress this way make this hair, say somethings like this and that, but do you know the funny part of it all humans are not satisfied with anything you do, make a stand in your life take decisions wisely, listen to the good advice for not all are bad .I believe in God but we also as human's need to do our part and allow God do his just be your self .So in this i believe with the word of God in 1 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 24 says Do you know that in a race all the runner's compete, but only one receives the prize?so run that you may obtain it that my secret to win over all be your self follow some good advice for not all are bad and work on your self
