Before the Bible, there was the toolbox. John Kibera didn’t start with scripture — he started with screwdrivers and shovels. This meme plays on the image of a man who used to “open graves” with crowbars now opening hearts with verses. It’s ridiculous and poetic at the same time. Imagine him standing at the pulpit, and all you can think is, “Wow… this guy used to pick locks on caskets.” Whether he was breaking into tombs or breaking down parables, he was always persuasive — just with drastically different target audiences.
