Companies pay people to write captions, blog posts, and product descriptions. Learn free on YouTube — search “content writing for beginners.” Practice by rewriting news articles in your own words. Clients are on Fiverr and Upwork, but start with Nigerian SMEs on Instagram. 2. Canva Design: Canva works perfectly on mobile. Businesses need flyers, Instagram posts, and logos every day. Spend 2 weeks learning Canva on YouTube. Then design 5 samples and post them. Charge N3k per flyer as a beginner. 10 clients a month is N30k. 3. Video Captioning/Subtitling: Creators need subtitles for Reels and TikTok. You can do this with free apps like CapCut. Watch a 1-hour tutorial and you’re ready. Charge N1,500 per 1-minute video. 4. Social Media Management: If you’re always on Twitter and IG, turn it into money. Learn how to schedule posts, reply to comments, and grow pages.
