Chapter 1: the boy with blue eyes

It was just another morning at St. Michael's Primary — a place too small for the big dreams in Esther’s heart. She had outgrown the wooden desks and noisy hallways, but something kept pulling her back, like unfinished business. She wasn’t a student here, not anymore. Yet in the dream, here she was… walking through the familiar gates in her current body, grown, wiser, a little more broken — but still her.

And that’s when she saw him.

He stood by the corridor where the sun kissed the floor perfectly, leaning casually like he belonged there. His skin was deep brown, smooth, like polished stone. But what stopped her in her tracks were his eyes — blue. Not just light-blue, but ocean-deep, stormy, too powerful for such a calm face.

Their eyes locked for only a second. But in that second, the world tilted.

He didn’t say anything. He didn’t need to. His gaze held a question she couldn’t answer. And a truth she wasn’t ready to face.

    "Star," he whispered.

She blinked. “What did you call me?”

    But he was already gone.

The bell rang. The world faded. And she woke up — heart racing, pillow damp, and the name “Star” still echoing in her ears.

But why did it feel… real?

Want to continue with Chapter Two? I can help shape the next part, maybe let her start dreaming about him more, or they meet again in real life... Let me know where you want to take it.
