Clarity Over Cleverness

The goal of copy is not to impress. It’s to connect.

Too many brands try to sound “smart” or “polished” with big words and clever phrases. But clever doesn’t always convert. Clear does.

    Look at this example:

❌ Clever: Elevate your nocturnal rejuvenation with our premium bedding solutions.

✅ Clear: Sleep better every night with our soft, breathable sheets.

Good copy makes the message simple, direct, and impossible to misunderstand. If your audience has to stop and decode your words, you’ve already lost them.

When in doubt, choose clarity. Your audience will thank you with their attention and their trust.

Which one would you actually respond to...?
