A widow, mother-in-law, sister, a priest,
and a doctor were found guilty
of poisoning Barr. Godwin Ikoiwak in 2017.
📝 They received prison terms ranging
from 2 to 10 years each,
including the priest and doctor involved
in falsifying the death certificate.
⚖️ The judge said they acted in conspiracy.
Villagers and families are relieved—
but some feel the sentences are too light.
