Day 4 of 30  Setup – Getting Started with What You Have 🔧

    Sorry for the break

Day 4 is here — and it’s time to get hands-on! Today, we’re diving into the tools and setup you need to start growing your mushrooms. The best part? You don’t need fancy equipment or a science lab — just a few smart essentials.

    Basic Tools for Mushroom Growin

Let’s keep it simple and beginner-friendly:

    1. Containers or Bags

    – Buckets, plastic tubs, or grow bags work great.

    – Make sure they’re clean and can be poked with holes for airflow.

    2. Spray Bottle

    – For misting and keeping humidity high. Mushrooms love moisture! 💧

    3. Thermometer (optional but helpful)

    – Most mushrooms thrive around 20–24°C

    – Helps you monitor your growing environment.

    4. Gloves and Masks

    – For cleanliness while handling substrate or spawn (especially during inoculation).

    – Helps avoid contamination.

    Setting Up Your Grow Space

You don’t need a farm. Try:

✅ A dark, humid corner of your kitchen or bathroom

✅ A closet or storage box with some ventilation

✅ Even a balcony if humidity is right (shade is key!)

    🎯 Action for Today:

✅ Look around your home – which space can work as your mini mushroom lab?

✅ Gather containers, spray bottles, and other basic tools.

✅ Snap a pic of your DIY setup and tag #MyMushroomCorner

Tomorrow, we’re going to talk about spawn — the magic seed that kickstarts the whole process. Get excited!

    Stay resourceful, stay curious.
