I want to speak to every parent reading this right now. What you do inside your home matters more than any government policy. The values you pass to your children, the words you speak over them, the character you model in front of them, that is the real foundation of this nation. If you teach your child that cutting corners is smart, you are raising the next corrupt official. If you teach your child that money is everything, you are raising someone who will sell their conscience for the right price. If you teach your child to look down on others, you are feeding the tribalism and classism that is tearing this country apart. But if you teach your child integrity, they will carry it into every office they occupy. If you teach them empathy, they will lead with humanity. If you teach them to work hard and be honest, they will build things that last. Parenting in Nigeria is incredibly hard. The economic pressure alone is enough to break a person. And yet parents across this country are doing extraordinary things with very little. This is not a criticism. It is a reminder.
