Atleast, I've witnessed someone like that.
He loved his wife very much. Treated her like a queen. Bought her a big beautiful house, pays for her salon visits, pays for her expensive jewellery and clothes, traveled around the world with her, take her out for expensive dinners, never raised his voice to her, actively helped raise their children and so on.
He had mistresses everywhere. And it was no secret. His wife knew as well.
The mistresses experienced a totally different man though. He treated them quite badly.
He passed away a couple of years ago from a disease.
None of his mistresses came to his funeral.
His wife and kids treated his death as a minor inconvenience. They weren't sad at all and moved on quite quickly.
In his eyes he saw himself as a good husband, good dad with a happy family when he was alive. But after his death you see his actions did have an effect on how his family viewed him.
