Last Sunday after church, I decided to impress everybody by acting “mature and responsible.” 😂 As people were greeting outside, one uncle brought out his car key and said, “Please help me reverse the car small.” Now, I don’t even know how to drive properly, but because many people were there, my pride refused to let me say no. 😭 I entered the car confidently like a Fast & Furious actor. Everybody outside started giving different instructions at the same time. “Turn left!” “No, right!” “Slow down!” “Watch the gutter!” Even one small boy was shouting directions like a licensed instructor. 🤣 My heart was beating like Afrobeats drum. I finally moved the car successfully… or so I thought. “KPAAA!” Silence. I had climbed one tiny block behind the car. 💀 The uncle held his head immediately. One aunty shouted, “Jesus!” Meanwhile the small children started laughing like it was comedy show. Out of fear, I quickly came down and said, “Uncle, honestly, the car is the problem. The steering is too sensitive.” 😂 The man just looked at me and said, “My brother, next time, impress God instead.” 😭🤣
