12 days agoElijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit. James 5:17–18

These verses remind us that Elijah was not superhuman he was “a man with a nature like ours.” Yet his fervent prayers moved heaven and changed the earth. This means our prayers, too, carry power when offered in faith. Prayer is not passive; it is an active force that can shift seasons, bring provision, and release fruitfulness.

Lord, thank You for reminding me that prayer changes things. Stir in me the faith and persistence of Elijah, that I may pray with boldness and expectancy. Let my prayers bring transformation in my life, my family, and my community.
