Fake love that feels real

It came with smiles and sugar-sweet lies,

    a gentle voice, soft alibis.

Like roses wrapped in thorns so tight,

it bloomed in day, but bled by night.

It spoke of forever with hollow breath,

a promise built on silent death.

Eyes that sparkled, lips that swore,

but hearts were missing at the core.

It touched but never truly held,

a ghost of something never felt.

Just empty words in dressed-up grace,

a mask worn well on shifting face.

Now lessons learned, the pain is real,

love that’s fake will never heal.

But truth will rise, and hearts will mend—

for real love waits around the bend.
