In many homes, people grow into roles they never chose. The responsible one. The problem solver. The one who must always understand everything 😭 Especially the first child or the “strong one,” life often assigns them responsibilities early. They learn to sacrifice, adjust, and mature faster than their age. While others are still learning life, they are already carrying it 😭 Over time, they become the person everyone depends on. Siblings, parents, even extended family. But nobody checks if they are okay too. Nobody asks if they are tired of always being the one who holds everything together. And because they are used to it, they rarely complain 😭 The painful part is that this role continues into adulthood. Even when they are overwhelmed, they still feel guilty resting. Still feel responsible for everyone else’s stability. Still struggle to say no. Society often praises them as “strong” but forgets they are human too 😭 Being responsible is good, but carrying everyone without emotional support can slowly drain a person. Not every strong child becomes strong naturally. Some were just never allowed to be weak. And that kind of strength often comes with hidden emotional exhaustion that nobody sees 🫶😭 #Family #LifeTalk #Relatable #Parenting #Adulting
