Jadon Sancho on why Erik ten Hag sold him from Manchester United: 🗣️ “I remember one of the toughest games I had during my time at Manchester United. Nothing seemed to come off for me that day. Every pass, every dribble, every decision felt like it was going wrong. After the game, there were a lot of conversations behind the scenes. The manager wasn’t happy, I wasn’t happy and there was a feeling that things weren’t moving in the right direction. From that moment, the relationship became more difficult. Football is a game of confidence and sometimes when confidence disappears, everything becomes harder. People think one match can end a career, but it’s usually a series of events that build up over time. Eventually, both sides felt a different path was needed. I have no regrets because I always tried to give my best. Sometimes a player and a club just don’t fit together the way everyone expected. Manchester United remains one of the biggest clubs in the world and I still have respect for the supporters. But in football, chapters end and new ones begin. For me, it was time to move on and rediscover my football elsewhere.” {@brtsportsx }
