Ginger was only five years old when she says she encountered Jesus in a heavenly vision. It happened during her very first church gathering, and she believes that experience completely changed the direction of her life. Raised in a non-Christian home marked by hardship, church attendance was forbidden in her family. One day, however, a woman invited her to a tent revival where people were gathered worshiping God. “I had never seen anything like it. I was scared because we weren’t supposed to go to church,” Ginger recalled. Suddenly, she felt herself being lifted beyond her surroundings. The tent seemed to disappear and everything around her faded from view. “I kept going higher and higher. I didn’t understand what was happening because I had never read the Bible. Then I looked up and saw Jesus. He revealed Himself to me on the cross, and His eyes met mine. I couldn’t stop looking at Him.” Though Jesus never spoke, Ginger says the encounter transformed her heart.
