💔 Have you ever felt like you disappointed God?
Like you’ve failed too badly…
Gone too far…
And now you’re carrying what feels like a curse?
You’re not alone.
But here’s a truth most people overlook:
God never cursed Adam. He covered him.
📖 Go back to Genesis 3
After the fall, we hear sermons about punishment and exile.
But we often miss the heart of the Father in that chapter.
Note
God called out to Adam not to condemn him, but to reconnect with him.
God listened to their side of the story even when knew what happened, this was to show how much he cared,
God cursed the serpent and the ground for the sake of man but not the man.
And then… He clothed them with garments He made Himself.
God didn’t shout.
He wasn't angry.
He didn’t abandon.
He didn’t erase them.
He covered their nakedness which has been exposed by sin. No one watch his/her loved one been naked.
🧡 Here’s what that means for YOU:
You may have made mistakes.
You may have walked away.
You may even feel ashamed.
But God is still asking the same question He asked Adam:
“Where are you?”
Not because He doesn’t know…
But because He wants you to know:
You’re still seen. Still loved. Still invited home.
🔥 Don’t confuse correction with condemnation.
God’s discipline is not rejection.
His love still reaches into broken places.
His mercy still weaves coverings for the ashamed.
He doesn’t curse His children.
He calls them back.
He covers them with grace.
🙏 Pray with Me
Father, thank You for loving me even when I fall.
Thank You for calling me, not to punish but to restore.
Wrap me again in Your grace.
Cover my shame with Your mercy.
And help me walk with You. Amen.
