    The devil used to be the angel of worship. That's why now we hear secular music everywhere.

    When driving, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, ringtones, background music on television, adverts, grooves/clubs. Everywhere actually. 

    Secular music is used to attract customers, and most especially to chain them in darkness. There are many different types of genres and everyone has their own favourite one. That genre is the one chaining that person in darkness and keeping them in bondage with sin.

     

    You know what the devil did?

    He exposed rock to be his genre, and then he disguised the other genres as good music with no harm, so that people won't notice his trick. They sound so nice and relaxed, but behind them are evil spirits which influence many to sin and to rebel against God. 

     

    If you can ask most people why they don't listen to rock, they will tell you that it's because it belongs to the devil, but they still listen to the other genres. The devil has many ways to deceive people, and you can't escape unless you have Christ.

     

    Now he also mixed/infused Gospel with secular music to trick people that it is actually harmless because it sings about The Lord Jesus/God, but it's actually still his music. If you listen to those kinds of music, you won't feel any conviction of sin, because it's purpose is to lead people to being lukewarm Christians and feel comfortable in sin and being part of the world.

     

    Be careful, Gospel alone is the music that Glorifies God, and also be careful of the artists and lyrics in that Gospel music as well.
