Happy weekend everyone! 🎉 But wait. Before you say "finally, rest" let me ask you something. Did you actually rest today or did Saturday come and immediately hand you a to do list? Because for most of us, Saturday is not a day off. It is a day of a different kind of work. You wake up and the first thing on your mind is the market. You have to beat the crowd, haggle with traders, carry bags, manage your budget, and still remember everything on your list. By the time you get back, you're already half tired. Then comes the cooking. You can't eat out every day, so you tie wrapper, enter kitchen, and start the whole process. Cutting, washing, seasoning, stirring. That alone can take two to three hours depending on what you're making. And somewhere in between, there's laundry, cleaning, running errands, and if you have children, managing them too. By evening you sit down and realize the day is almost gone. Sunday comes and you're already thinking about Monday. So yes, weekends are precious. But let's stop pretending Saturday is rest. It's a whole shift. To every hardworking person juggling life this weekend, you are doing amazing. Rest when you can. You deserve it. Happy weekend! 🧡
