    But here’s the thing—love and pain often come holding hands in Nigerian relationships. Some people forgive because they can’t walk away. Others stay because of kids, shame, or simply because they’re still in love with the version of the person that once made them feel seen.

    Does forgiveness make you weak?

    Or does it show emotional maturity?

    If you’ve been there, you know how hard it is to leave someone your heart is still tied to—even if your brain is screaming, “RUN!”
