Episode 1: The Dream of Becoming a Star In a busy town in Nigeria, there lived a boy named Tunde. Tunde was 14 years old. He loved watching TikTok videos. He saw many people dancing, telling jokes, and doing funny things. Tunde wanted to be a TikTok star too. Every day after school, Tunde would take his phone and try to make videos. Sometimes, he got just two or three likes. Tunde felt sad. He wanted to be famous and make his family proud. His mother said, “Tunde, keep trying. Many stars started small.” But Tunde wanted to give up. He thought, “Maybe I am not good enough.” One day, Tunde’s friend, Chika, came to visit. Chika was also on TikTok, but she had many followers. “Tunde,” she said, “you need to find what makes you special. What do you love most? What can you do better than others?” Tunde thought hard. He loved telling stories about his life and his town. He loved making people laugh with funny stories about school and family. So, he decided to make videos about his daily life in his town, with jokes and stories that only people from Nigeria would understand. The next day, Tunde made a new video. He told a funny story about his school teacher who always forgot his glasses. He used simple words and acted like the teacher. He posted the video and waited. To his surprise, many people started watching. The video got 100 views, then 500, then 1,000! People wrote comments like, “This is so funny!” and “I love your videos!” Tunde smiled. He felt happy. Maybe he could be a star after all. He promised himself to keep making videos about his life and to never give up.
