1/ Feeling burnt out but still need to create?

    You're not lazy. You're human.

Here's how I stay creative without forcing it when my tank is empty 🧵

2/ First, I accept that creativity has seasons.

We’re not robots. Some days will be 🔥, others flat.

Beating yourself up for being tired only blocks more creativity.

    3/ I switch environments — ASAP.

My brain links the same space with the same patterns.

    So I break the cycle:

    ☕ Try a new café

    🌿 Take a walk

🪟 Sit by a different window

A small change outside makes a big shift inside.

    4/ I create smaller things.

Burnout + big expectations = stress.

    So I shrink the goal:

    → A tweet, not a blog.

    → A sketch, not a masterpiece.

    → A thought, not a thread.

Progress in micro-moves is still progress.

5/ I consume with intention, not escape.

Sometimes I binge content—but on purpose.

    I study:

    🧠 What grabs my attention?

🎨 What visuals or words inspire me?

    Then I remix, not copy.

6/ I rest like it’s part of the job.

    Because it is.

Some of my best ideas have come after a nap, a walk, or even a day of silence.

Rest isn't a reward for work. It's part of the creative process.

7/ Bonus: I talk to people who "get it."

    Community is creative fuel.

Even a quick DM with a fellow creative reminds me I’m not alone in this fog.

    8/ TL;DR: Burnout is a signal, not a failure.

    Change your rhythm.

    Lower the bar.

    Feed your mind.

And trust: the spark will return.
