Episode 2: Hope for Tomorrow Days passed, and Amina kept working hard. Sometimes, she felt tired and sad, but she never stopped. She wanted Kola to have a better future. One afternoon, a kind woman saw Amina selling food. She said, “Amina, you are very hardworking. I want to help you.” The woman gave Amina a small loan to buy more food to sell. With the loan, Amina bought more ingredients and cooked more food. More people came to buy from her. She earned more money and could save a little. Kola saw his mother’s smile again. He said, “Mama, I want to help you when I grow up.” Amina hugged him and said, “You will, my son. We will help each other.” Amina also made time to help Kola with his school work. She told him, “Education is important. It will help us change our life.” One day, Kola won a prize at school for being a good student. Amina was very proud. She said, “See, my son, your hard work and my hard work will bring us good things.” Amina and Kola knew life was still hard, but they had hope.
