Being a student with no money is not for the weak.
Here are 5 real ways I survive when I’m broke — thread 🧵
1. I Use Free Wi-Fi Anywhere I Can
I don’t waste my own data. I download what I need at school or use friends’ hotspots. Free Wi-Fi = free survival.📶
2. I Budget Every ₦100 Like ₦10,000
₦500 becomes ₦300 food + ₦100 transport + ₦100 emergency.
I don’t spend anyhow — I plan every naira.
3. I Do Small Online Tasks That Pay
Apps like Konnect.Africa pay for posts, comments, referrals.
Even ₦200 helps me buy data or food. It’s slow, but it works.💸
4. I Cook, Even If It’s Just Spaghetti
I buy ingredients and cook instead of spending ₦1k+ on one meal.
A pot of rice can last two days. No shame in that.🍝
5. I Don’t Compete With Anyone
No pressure to dress rich or look rich.
I face my front, manage my life, and avoid fake lifestyle stress.💯
In Summary
Being broke is tough, but it teaches survival.
I’m still learning, but I hope these tips help someone else out there.❤️
