These are not fictional scenes—they’re documented rescues of innocent lives from the terrifying reality of baby factories in Nigeria.

Let’s meet some of the survivors and uncover their stories:

    ---

    🔹 Lagos State Rescue – April 2025

In Ijegun, Lagos, police raided a “baby factory” after a tip-off.

They rescued 7 women aged in their 20s and 3 children (aged 2 to 7)—all held against their will

3 operators were arrested: Mariam (35), Orie (23), and Ujunwa (18)

Victims are now receiving care; suspects will face prosecution

    ---

    🔹 Abia State Rescue – May 2024

NAPTIP and DSS uncovered a facility in Umuahia North, Umuafai village

10 victims rescued: young girls (some pregnant), a lactating mother, and two minor boys

A 63‑year‑old woman (Chinyere Nkwocha) was arrested and transferred to NAPTIP for investigation

    🔹 Other Ongoing Operations

Human Rights sources estimate hundreds of thousands of people are trafficked yearly in Nigeria due to poverty, stigma, and corrupt systems

Babies sold for adoption, child labor, or ritual use—often priced between ₦500,000 and ₦1 million depending on gender

Law enforcement has made interventions, but the judicial system remains slow and victims often go unreported
