One day, I decided to impress my friends by making homemade pizza. Easy, right? I got the dough ready, and then the cheese. But, as I opened the fridge, I realized we were out of tomato sauce. I panicked. Desperate, I grabbed the ketchup bottle, thinking, "It’s basically the same thing, right?"

I spread the ketchup on the dough like it was sauce and topped it with the cheese. It looked... interesting. When I finally put the pizza in the oven, the smell was not what I expected. It wasn’t the comforting, cheesy pizza aroma—more like a fast food joint had burned down.

When the pizza was done, I served it, trying to act confident. My friend took a bite and immediately froze, staring at me. “Is this... ketchup pizza?” she asked, horrified. Needless to say, that was the last time I tried to innovate in the kitchen.
