    My roommate had this one fine black heel — that shoe could make you feel like a First Lady. So on Sunday, while she was sleeping, I told myself, “It’s just small borrowing. I’ll return it after service.” I wore it with slay confidence. As I entered church, even the ushers looked twice. During praise and worship, the spirit was moving me. I jumped. I spun. I stomped… Next thing: GBOA!! The sole of the left shoe flew off and landed near the drummer 😭 Everyone turned. My leg bent like broken Bluetooth. I had to dance the rest of the song on one foot and vibes. After church, one aunty said, “Next time borrow spiritual covering before you borrow shoe.” I returned home and pretended like nothing happened.
