Is it wrong to chase money over passion?

They say “follow your passion and the money will come.” But let’s be honest — how long should we wait for that money to come? 😒

I used to dream of becoming a writer. I loved it. But love doesn’t pay rent. Passion didn’t pay my transport. Passion didn’t stop my mom from asking for help.

    So I started chasing money.

Not fraud. Just real work — online jobs, surveys, small gigs. Things that weren’t “my passion”… but they paid.

And honestly? I feel more peaceful with a full stomach than chasing dreams while hungry.

    My point is:

Passion is beautiful. But money brings options. You can always come back to your passion — but hunger doesn’t wait.

    What do you think?

Would you rather be broke doing what you love — or make money doing what works?

    Let’s hear it 👇
