This might offend some people, but let’s be real for a moment 🧵
How can a country this blessed be this broken?
1. **Natural Resources Everywhere**
Oil, gold, fertile land, human talent — Nigeria is one of the richest nations on paper. So why are we still struggling?
2. **Plenty of Smart People**
From tech to music, Nigerians are winning globally. Yet back home, the system crushes brilliance.
3. **Leaders or Looters?**
Since independence, we’ve rotated the same class of leaders. Most care more about their pockets than progress.
4. **We Pray, But Don’t Plan**
Churches and mosques everywhere. But planning, maintenance, accountability? Zero. Can prayer fix what leadership refuses to?
5. **We Celebrate Survival Over Solutions**
You buy fuel at ₦1,000/litre and still shout “God is good.” Is that resilience or silent suffering?
6. **We Glorify Suffering**
Struggle is praised. Wealth is suspicious. Comfort is attacked. Maybe we’re addicted to pain?
7. **So the Question Is…**
Is Nigeria under a curse? Or is this just what decades of corruption, poor education, and silence look like?
Let’s be honest.
