    This raises fears Nigeria might be sliding into a one-party state, where democracy is just a show.

    But ADA supporters argue:

    Nigeria needs fresh voices and new ideas, and the APC and PDP have failed us.

    Add to this the talk of constitutional reforms — like switching to a parliamentary system — which could shake up power dynamics even more.

    One thing is clear: Nigerian voters are hungry for change, but can a new party deliver?
