Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has reassured fans that his shoulder injury scare is “under control”, easing fears just in time for the Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest this weekend.
💪 Odegaard Calms Injury Fears
The midfielder picked up the knock during Arsenal’s 5-0 thrashing of Leeds United in August, the same game that saw Bukayo Saka limp off with a hamstring issue. Odegaard later missed the starting XI against Liverpool, coming on only for the final 20 minutes at Anfield.
But speaking to the press, the Norwegian star insisted he’s fit and ready:
“It hurt a lot, but now I got it under control and I feel ready. It was never an issue… My only job was to get ready.”

Despite concerns about being called up for international duty, Odegaard played 45 minutes in Norway’s 1-0 win over Finland, silencing talk of a club-versus-country row. He emphasized his strong relationship with Norway manager Stale Solbakken, making it clear both Arsenal and Norway are on the same page.
🚑 Arsenal’s Injury Headache Continues
While Odegaard’s return is a boost, Arsenal’s injury list remains worrying:
Bukayo Saka is still sidelined with a hamstring problem.
Kai Havertz is recovering from minor knee surgery.
William Saliba faces up to four weeks out after a sprained ankle against Liverpool.
