The Red Devils have struggled to be competitive in recent years, as their decline has seen them move from Premier League and Champions League contenders to staving off relegation.
Last season saw Manchester United hit a new low, as they finished 15th in the league and fell to defeat in the Europa League final .
With such a slow start to this season, Ruben Amorim is facing an uphill task with United, one that he is still just about battling.
At the same time as Man United’s decline, there has been the rise of some of their greatest rivals.
That includes Liverpool , who began a rebuild under Jurgen Klopp and turned into one of the best teams in the world.
Now, all those years on, the former Reds manager is still seemingly poking fun at Man United.
