Topic : Keeping Your Spiritual Antennas Active as a Christian.

Text : Revelation 2:7 (NKJV) - "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

    -----Inspirational Message-----

A spiritual antenna is a believer’s ability to discern, perceive, and receive divine signals from God through the Holy Spirit. Just as a radio needs a tuned antenna to pick the right station, a Christian must keep their spiritual senses sharp to catch what God is saying and to detect the enemy’s schemes. In these last days, dull spiritual perception can lead to missed opportunities, deception, and even spiritual ruin. May God Almighty delivers us in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen

    1. Why You Must Keep Your Spiritual Antennas Active.

    a) To Hear God’s Voice Clearly - "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." - John 10:27. God is constantly speaking, but only those with active spiritual antennas will pick His signals amid life’s noise.

    b) To Discern the Times - "…the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do." - 1 Chronicles 12:32. Discernment helps us respond rightly to spiritual seasons and prophetic timings.

    c) To Detect and Resist the Enemy - "Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices." - 2 Corinthians 2:11. An active antenna picks up enemy interference before it becomes a stronghold.

    2. How to Keep Your Spiritual Antennas Active.

    a) Stay in the Word - "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword…" - Hebrews 4:12a. Regular study of the Word fine-tunes your spiritual frequency and prevents false signals.

    b) Maintain a Vibrant Prayer Life - "Pray without ceasing." - 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Prayer is like recharging your spiritual batteries. Without it, the antenna grows weak.

    c) Live a Life of Holiness. - "Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord." - Hebrews 12:14. Sin creates static in the spirit, making God’s voice hard to hear.

    d) Be Sensitive to the Holy Spirit. - "As many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." - Romans 8:14. Cultivate an ear for His whisper; don’t ignore the gentle nudges of the Holy Spirit.

    e) Fellowship with Other Believers. - "As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." - Proverbs 27:17. God often uses others to confirm His word to you.

    3. Signs Your Spiritual Antenna is Weak.

    a) You struggle to hear God’s direction.

    b) You fall easily into temptation.

    c) You are spiritually cold or prayerless.

    d) You are easily swayed by false doctrines.

    e) You miss divine opportunities due to lack of discernment.

    4. The Reward of Staying Spiritually Alert.

    a) Divine Direction — Isaiah 30:21.

    b) Protection from Deception — Matthew 24:24.

    c) Fruitful Christian Living — John 15:5.

    d) Victory over the Enemy — Ephesians 6:11

    *Conclusion.*

In a world full of distractions, keeping your spiritual antenna active is not optional, it is essential for survival and fruitfulness in the Kingdom. God is speaking; the question is, are you tuned in?

    Prayer.

Lord, sharpen my spiritual senses. Remove every static of sin, fear, and distraction from my heart. Help me to hear You clearly, discern rightly, and obey swiftly. Keep my spiritual antenna active until I see You face to face, im Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

    God Bless You.
