    They say love is beautiful.

But they don’t tell you that sometimes, it walks in soft… and leaves with everything.

Your peace. Your confidence. Even your sense of self.                                                We loved someone with the kind of honesty that only comes once.

The type that doesn’t ask for much — just to be chosen.

But sometimes, the person we choose isn’t ready to choose us back.

When it ended, it wasn’t fire and thunder.

    It was silence.

    Left-on-read silence.

Slow detachment that felt like being erased, piece by piece. We thought we would break completely.

    We isolate ourselves

    Smiled online, shattered offline.

You know that feeling? When you’re present, but not really there?

    Then, something unexpected happened.

My people  not lovers, but friends started showing up.

No questions. No pressure. Just presence.

    One friend brought food.

    Another brought laughter.

One just sat with us and said,

“You don’t have to talk. I’m not going anywhere.”

    In that moment, we realized:

    Love didn’t leave us.

    That version of it did.

    But love… real love… stayed.

    Through friendship.

    Through solidarity.

Through people who didn’t need to hold our heart  they just held my hand.Heartbreak taught us what kind of love we don’t want.

But solidarity showed us the kind we deserve.

The kind that holds space, not just feelings.

If you’re healing from something that once felt like everything,

    Let me remind you:

    You are not alone.

Love still exists. It just wears different clothes sometimes.
