Yesterday, I mistakenly joined one online giveaway live video on Facebook. 😂 The host was shouting with full energy: “Drop your account number! Share the live! Your helper is here tonight!” Comments were flying faster than election promises. 😭 Not wanting to miss my destiny, I stayed awake till almost 1am. The man kept saying, “The next person will receive ₦50,000!” My eyes were shining like generator light after blackout. 🤣 After two hours of sharing the live to every group I know, he finally called one winner. The person screamed so loud, you’d think they won Big Brother. I became more serious immediately. I even started typing “Amen” with confidence. Then the host said, “To qualify for the next giveaway, send ₦1,000 activation fee.” That was when my village people removed their hands from my eyes. 💀😂 People in the comments were still defending him: “It’s real!” “I already got paid!” “Don’t miss this opportunity!” Opportunity to become broke? 😭 I quietly left the live, slept hungry, and woke up the next morning to see my friend posting: “Make money online easily.” My brother, at this point even my phone is tired of motivational scams. 😂
