One sunny afternoon, I found a shiny white sheet of paper on my desk. “What can I make with this?” I wondered. Then I remembered — a paper aeroplane!
I folded the paper carefully, trying to make each edge nice and straight. Fold once… fold twice… oh no! The first one didn’t look right. It was all crooked. But I didn’t give up. I took another sheet and tried again. This time, I made the folds gently, just like I had seen in a book.
When I finished, I held my little aeroplane high. It looked perfect! I ran to the yard and threw it into the air. Whoooosh! It flew so far that even the birds looked surprised!
I clapped my hands and laughed. My paper aeroplane danced in the wind, twirling and gliding before landing softly on the grass. I picked it up and said, “You’re my best flying friend!”
