For the longest time, I thought earning money online was only for tech geniuses, people with the right tools, or those who already had special skills. But here I am today, deciding to start my own online income journey — from scratch — with just my phone, a curious mind, and a strong desire for change. 💪🏽 --- Why I Took the Bold Step I got tired of feeling stuck. I wanted something more than just the usual hustle and my hospitality job’s daily routine. Deep down, I knew where I was wasn’t where I was supposed to be. I wanted to build something that could grow with me — something flexible that I could do from anywhere, even with my phone. For me, this journey isn’t just about money; it’s about creating a sustainable source of income that will give me freedom, confidence, and peace of mind. --- My Obstacles as a Beginner Let me be honest: I don’t have any technical skills yet. I don’t have fancy equipment, but I’m determined, and that’s why I took this bold step into freelancing. I’m still figuring out which platforms are truly legit and safe, but that hasn’t stopped me from using what I have. And yes, sometimes the fear of failing sneaks in — but I remind myself that fear is part of being human. What matters is not letting it hold me back. Everyone starts somewhere. And my “somewhere” is right here — starting small and building one step at a time. --- What I’m Doing Now Right now, my main focus is learning, exploring, and taking small but consistent actions: Researching platforms like Medium, Fiverr, Upwork, and Selar. Reading blogs and watching videos about freelancing and online income. Writing about my journey to keep myself consistent and accountable — just like a daily routine, like skincare for my growth. Experimenting with sharing my thoughts on freelancing for beginners, personal growth, and making money online — even though I haven’t earned yet. --- What I’ve Learned So Far This journey has already taught me some valuable lessons: Progress matters more than perfection. It’s better to start imperfectly than to keep waiting for the “perfect time.” Consistency is everything. Small daily steps lead to bigger results. It’s okay to start small. Every expert we admire today was once a beginner too. --- My Goals Moving Forward 💪🏽 I’m setting simple but clear goals for myself: Make my first $10 online. Build a routine of writing consistently at least three times a week to grow an audience. Learn at least one or two skills that I can turn into a freelance service. --- Final Thoughts I may be starting from scratch, but I know I won’t stay a beginner forever. Patience pays off, but it’s always a gradual process. If you’re reading this and thinking about starting your own online income journey, remember this: it’s okay to be a beginner. What matters most is taking that first step — just like I did. This is just the beginning of my story, and I can’t wait to share my progress with you. Are you starting your online income journey too? Let’s connect and grow together in the comments. 🌱
