136 days agoHostel life will humble you. One morning I woke up and noticed my toothbrush was wet… and smelling like another person’s mouth. I kept quiet. I just used chewing gum that day. Then in the afternoon, my roommate said: “Babe, your toothbrush is soft sha. I just used it small. But abeg, do you have mouth ulcer?” I froze. 😭 I said, “Wait… you used my brush, and now you’re checking my medical record??” She said, “It’s not like that na. I just like how your brush foams well.” I wanted to cry and laugh at the same time. Since then, I hide my toothbrush inside my bra like a weapon. Because hostel girls will use your last spoon and still ask if you have typhoid.
