    • Event says 4pm, but everyone knows 6pm is the real start time.  
    • When someone says “I’m on my way,” you check the time they probably just stepped out.  
    • Arrive early? People ask if you’re lost or coming for a different event.  
    • You plan to be fashionably late, but the host still hasn’t started by 7pm.  
    • Clock Nigerian time: Always running on “African Standard Time.”
