    Police Seize N$18.2 Million from Criminals, Crack Down  and High-Profile Cases Namibian Police have recovered N$18.2 million from criminals over the past four years through the Prevention of Organised Crime Act (POCA), according to the Ministry of Home Affairs’ new report. From 2021 to 2025, over N$189 million worth of illegal were also confiscated, and more than 6,300 people were arrested for drug-related crimes.                                                                                                                                            The report also highlights other high-profile efforts: POCA was used to freeze and seize assets linked to fraud and corruption. Some cases involved known businesspeople and public officials under investigation. Authorities continue to track dirty money, luxury cars, and properties bought with proceeds of crime.                                                                                                                        The Ministry says the fight against organised crime, trafficking, and high-level corruption will continue with even stronger enforcement from 2025 to 2030.
