So yesterday, I finally hustle together money, buy petrol, pull rope, start generator. The thing roar like a lion. I dey happy, connect everything, fan dey blow, phone dey charge, life is beautiful. Exactly 7 minutes later... NEPA brought light. I just sat there. Looking at the generator. The generator looking at me. The ceiling fan doing effizy with NEPA current. My generator, still hot, still vibrating, now completely useless like a WAEC certificate at a Yahoo man's house. I didn't off it immediately sha. Out of respect. Let the poor thing run small, feel like it contributed something to this economy. My neighbor shouted "Up NEPA!" I shouted back. But deep in my heart, I was mourning. Because I know the truth. That light will go again. Probably before I finish this sentence. NEPA giveth, and NEPA taketh, and NEPA will taketh again before your suya gets warm. We move. Comment your NEPA betrayal story below. You are not alone. 🕯️⚡😂 #KonnectNG #NigeriaProblems #NEPALife #GeneratorStruggles #WeMove
